NikoDG Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) I'm looking at picking up a GTX 780 Ti but am having a very hard time choosing between all the great cards available. 1) Gigabyte Windforce (My top pick currently) - Priced at $750 on Newegg.ca - Core clock 1020 MHz, boost clock 1085 MHz - I know it's considered ugly by most, but I kind of like the design 2) Asus DirectCU II - Priced at $780 on Newegg.ca - Core clock 954 MHz, boost clock 1020 MHz - My favorite as far as looks go, but higher price and lower clocks 3) MSI TwinFrozr - Priced at $750 on Newegg.ca - Core clock 1020 MHz, boost clock 1085 MHz - Not so keen on the design, but do like MSI Afterburner software 4) EVGA ACX - Priced at $840 on Newegg.ca - Core clock 1020 MHz, boost clock 1085 MHz - No idea why this one costs so damn much, lol What do you guys think? I've also been considering an R9 290(x) with an improved cooler, but with the surge in LiteCoin mining AMD has lost most of their price advantage. olokul Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I would trust Knight on this. im sure this has been is last few videocards what he had sold for a 780ti, then sold for some lower end sli/cf setup, that sold for a r290, sold for a 780ti all in the last 2 weeks. he changes videocard more then I change my boxers. Lol, luckily I've been able to keep this ASUS GTX780Ti for nearly 2 months - although I was highly tempted to sell this and upgrade to that Gigabyte GTX780Ti GHz I linked. Also, MSI Afterburner and EVGA Precision software works on all cards - so no need to buy a specific brand like MSi because you "like MSI Afterburner software" Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
