Nephilumos Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 Ok, so here's the deal: I need a wireless headset for Gaming/Skype. The reason I need a Wireless Headset is because my new puppy tore up my Razer Megalodon Headset. I want to avoid this in the future. So here are the headsets I've been looking at: Logitech G930 Razer Chimaera (Works with PC & Xbox) Razer Chimaera 5.1 (Works with PC & Xbox) I'm leaning more toward the Logitech, though I have a fanboyish preference for Razer. Surround sound is a plus, though not necessary. I need good bass response because I like to feel the wubwubwubwubwubwub without distortion/crackle. I am completely open to other suggestions for wireless headsets if you've had a good experience with them Thanks guys!
Skidmarks Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 If you want wireless consider these as well http://www.corsair.com/vengeance-2000-wireless-7-1-gaming-headset.html Remember you puppy won't always remain a puppy so wireless may not always be a priority. If you're a Razer fan these are what the doctor ordered http://www.razerzone.com/gaming-audio/razer-electra/

The Razer one looks like they're just headphones though as compared to a headset (It's lacking a mic).
Nephilumos Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 (edited) Update: Made a bit of an impatient/Impulse buy. After pouring over reviews for the Corsair, the Logitech, and both versions of the Razer, I went with the Razer. Seems like the best features and sound/mic quality, even if it is a bit more expensive. I'll update with my final thoughts once it gets here. Stonerboy779 Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 If you want to avoid it in the future put the dog outside where it should be If its too small and weak to be outside you just got yourself an oversized rat not a dog haha. Hope you enjoy your headphones though personally I could never stand a wireless headset.

Personally I've use the Roccat Kave 5.1 headset for nigh on 2 years now & I'm extremely happy with it. She's a 50lb Boxer (Far from small) and we live in an apartment, so we don't have an outside to put her. Also, short snout dogs don't do well in Texas heat, so even if we had land, she would only be outside to pee/poop. I'm willing to deal with wireless to prevent her from wreaking more expensive havoc. Believe me, I'd much rather use my Razer Megalodon, but now that's it's bitten the dust, I can't do that, can I?

The name of the game is tiring them out before bed time
