90sgamer Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 well it would help us to help you if you post the full specs of the system. that way we can know what we are dealing with + 1, We can't help much without that. Also, did you install graphics drivers yourself, or use the Windows 7 defaults? If I recall correctly, the default Win 7 drivers for ATI & Nvidia cards do not have OpenGL support. You'll need to download the latest drivers for the graphics card from the manufacturer's site.
makarov Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 This is from my phone so I can't put up the specs till I get home. I did try the manufacture website (acer) and for my particular model it didn't have win 7 drivers. Because the computer was never sold with Windows seven

90sgamer Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Use this link on the Intel site to get the best graphics drivers for your GPU: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect/graphics This should find your Intel GPU drivers and install the correct version (and those have OpenGL support)
makarov Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 (edited) yea i had already tried that auto update tool. it says that i curently have the latest drivers. anyway i also ran the intel system identify which said my graphics was this: Intel® 946GZ that was hyperlinked so you click on that and this comes up:http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/graphics/intel946gz on that page i see OpenGL* Support Web Link so i click on that anyway cut a long story short that lead me back to manualy update driver tool which is where i started. and i cant use that because my particular model isnt on the list. i feel like im going round in circles. here's what ive found so far: GRAPHICS INFORMATION Graphics Product [1] Intel® 946GZ Graphics Driver Version not detected Driver Status Your driver is current Edited March 30, 2012 by makarov
viperk1 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Have you downloaded and installed one of these drivers? Intel Driver Download Try uninstalling the video card driver and then installing from one of these packages.
