i have this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995016 it is really nice, real powerful at 30 watt per channel very reliable, the knobs feel solid and the higher the knob is turned the brighter the the led inside the knob gets, which is my only complaint the blue led are too bright for me,

but this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811995075 is supposed to be the same with led's above each knob instead of behind a clear knob, and its not supposed to be as bright, and this controller is supposed to have a manual mode and an automatic mode

Your link isn't working for me but I found it via the product code.

I've a couple of those controllers and they work well, no problems. ;)

my question is the specs for the zalman say to 11v does that mean it wont run full speed at 12v

I just did a few quick measurements with a Akasa DFS122512L fan.

Full speed without controller = 1208RPM

With controller 440RPM -> 980RPM (4.98V -> 10.51V)

So yes it definately won't run at full speed judging by these results.

Hope that helps.
