Guest_Jim_* Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 Sorry about the necro, but this seemed relevant: AMD cuts 800M transistors off Bulldozer, confusion ensues. Apparently AMD misstated the stats for Bulldozer. Instead of the 2 billion transistors stated in the story about automated design (from Kwok's post), the chip actual has 1.2 billion.
