After that length the analog signal will be distorted and it will look pretty ugly on the screen. Just try it out with a monitor and you'll see. Usually, only 10ft is enough to see a difference. It depends on the quality of the cable though. I call BS on that! I have one that i currently use for my tv and that is 10m (about 32ft), home made crap (i even have 6 channel analogue audio through the same cable), and I cant tell any difference versus the 10ft cable i use for my other monitor.
