For anyone wondering, this chip will do 4.0ghz at about 1.31vcore and will hit 4.4ghz relatively easy with about 1.4vcore. Averages about 50k ppd at 4.0ghz for the folders interested. I also have a EVGA x58 sli mobo I would sell with the 970 as a combo for $500 and with a set of g.skill 3x2gb ddr3 1600mhz cas8 ram for $540 but don't want to sell the mobo and ram without selling the cpu. edit: and that is cpu, mobo, and ram for cheaper than you could buy the i7 970 for new.
