spectrascope Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 The latest version of arctic silver is usually good, as far as the fan, high cfm isn't a must high pressure will be the key with a rad some thing like this 120mm triblade. wevsspot Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 Scythe fans are great. As for TIM - I exclusively use Arctic Silver. Particular compound depending on whether I'm doing a vga, motherboard chipset or cpu installation.
IVIYTH0S Posted April 13, 2011 Posted April 13, 2011 I use whatever compounds come with coolers anymore, they all work awesome. It's never worth buying compound unless you are out of it.

farc Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 just one more question...if i want to add on a fan, do i have to change the stock fan as well? or is it ok to keep the stock fan and just add in one more?
wevsspot Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I'm a big fan of Yate Loon and Scythe fans. Either way you won't go wrong.
