Onion Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I'm also a big fan of dubstep. You might like , but it's more of a dubstyle remix. I suggest you google "shambhala 2010" "shambhala 2009" and "shambhala 2008" downloads (which are free and legal). Its basically 90 minutes of dubstep packed into a convenient mp3. Here's a couple nice links from my favorites. Excision and Downlink - Existence. And one of my favorite tracks: RacknRuin - Dazed & Confused (SKisM's Baroque Out Remix)
ARandomOWL Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) Another big fan here. I would definitely recommend anything by Nero or Flux Pavilion. Nero also do drum and bass, my 2nd favourite genre. Rusko is another artist that comes to mind. He has a range of different sounds. Here are 2 dubstep classics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNStVlJWy88 For anyone new to this music, it will sound really bland without a proper woofer. Go get yourself one! ARandomOWL Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I don't really care for Pendulum as a band, but I do quite like that song along with a few others. "Slam" and "Tarantula" come to mind.
Onion Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I like those two as well. How about blood sugar?
ARandomOWL Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 Yes, that's quite good too. I think this thread needs to come with a health warning. It's totally filthy.
_TheAlexO Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 (edited) subwoofer is a must. ive listened to some Nero and Flux Pavillion , pretty good. Nero especially. Deadmau5 has a little dubstep on his new album 4 x 4 = 12 a few songs: Skrillex - Slats Slats Slats (not sure if this is really dub-step, but Skrillex is amazing and I enjoy basically everything he does. especially this song My favorites are more upbeat usually, but I like really nasty and slow stuff as well. ARandomOWL Posted January 22, 2011 Posted January 22, 2011 I wasn't expecting that deadmau5 tune. I quite like his House/Electro. Never heard that one before.
