seeing as ur playing with the fsb, have u increased voltaged to ram as well??? seeing as they too are affected by fsb changes.. as well as chipsets like north n south bridges

make sure u up voltages not only on the cpu but others as well little by little till its stable

some of them i have no clue what they control like mch core, mch/dram reference, mch reference, ich i/o, ich core

my voltages are as follows

CPU PLL 1.75000

CPU Termination 1.4000

CPU Reference .76000

CPU Vcore 1.45000

DRAM Voltage 1.7000

DRAM Termination .75000

Ch-A Data VRef .75000

Ch-B Data VRef .75000

Ch-A Address VRef .75000

Ch-B Address VRef .75000

MCH Core 1.4000

MCH/DRAM Reference .75000

MCH Reference .76000

ICH I/O 1.5000

ICH Core 1.1000

any idea what to change and what some of it means?

Set DRAM Voltage to what the sticks are rated at (2.1v??)

CPU Vcore should be plenty for now

CPU Termination should be ok as well (but should be raised later)

MCH Core is also fine

I'd set all these to auto:

CPU PLL 1.75000

CPU Reference .76000

DRAM Termination .75000

Ch-A Data VRef .75000

Ch-B Data VRef .75000

Ch-A Address VRef .75000

Ch-B Address VRef .75000

MCH/DRAM Reference .75000

MCH Reference .76000

ICH I/O 1.5000

ICH Core 1.1000

everything is on auto except Vcore and the ram voltage. the ram is only rated @ 1.65v the p/n for my ram OCZ3P2000LV4GK

i got to 495fsb this morning before it blue screened. after it did that win 7 wouldn't start i think it said mbr or something along the lines of bootmgr. this took me an hour to fix because i have the revo drive and no drivers for it. all is fixed now. with the voltages i listed which should i raise and how high should i raise them. my goal for now is 500fsb 4.0GHZ and my ram will be @ 2000MHZ 9-9-9-30

lower the ram speed, usually windows boot errors are caused by ram instability.
