ccokeman Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Stock is more than enough Correction .......Stock is NEVER ENOUGH! Making this kind of recommendation is blasphemy! This is after all overclockersclub u should just leave it alone.. itll achieve that by itself lol Without voltage tuning you will be limited as I have seen results go from 825MHz and up to around 850 depending how good the silicon is. a good safe clock should be around 850 is you do some mild voltage tweaking. Setup you fan profile so that under load you are keeping the fans speeds just fast enough to keep the GPU cool and should should be able to hit some decent clocks. 850/4200 should be an easy clock with voltage tuning and not run to incredibly warm. mattyamdfanboi Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 lol its enough!! (coming frmo someone who has his 580 set at 900/1800/2125) lol ive had my silicon at 860 no voltage stable as a rock

Sentient6 Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 You got a good one then! Thinking I'll just tune them to 820Mhz for a little extra boost, thats around a 6.5% increase so it shouldn't have any adverse affects outside of a slight temp raise, but thats where liquid cooling and fan control come in.
