IVIYTH0S Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Nice job! sweet voltage for the clock speed you're at, have you stress tested it for a couple of hours

IVIYTH0S Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 what cooler?? That seems high for the voltage you're running  I got about the same temps at 1.52v, 100mhz faster with a core contact freezer 120mm  usually it's more in the 45C range load
danieljury3 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Stock cooling
IVIYTH0S Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Stock cooling Oh wow, that's pretty good then, since it seems you have a good chip. You should get a decent cooler and then you can probably take that 620 pretty high.
danieljury3 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 (edited) The problem isn't the cooling, Its that my motherboard wont go past 260mhz. It does currently seem as though I'm trying to get the best CPU cooling I can without actually upgrading the heatsink because Ive ordered two more case fans for my computer and I intend to buy some better thermal paste next month. I should really get a better video card at some point as that seems like the weakest part of my computer. I'm looking at getting a 5770 around Christmas Edited October 30, 2010 by danieljury3
IVIYTH0S Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 How much did you spend on the case fans?
danieljury3 Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 The equivalent to US$37. I got two Cooler Master SickleFlow fans.
IVIYTH0S Posted October 30, 2010 Posted October 30, 2010 Couldnt you have gotten a coolermaster hyper 212+ for just about the same price?
