I overclocked my AMD 1297 mhz to 1408 by turnin up my clock speed ran it for 2days (everything was great) then today i bumped it up alittle more and when i saved the changes my screen went blank im a n00b at overclocking thing anyways im posting this on my old box (lucky me) Any Suggestions, Thanks in advance Peace Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tokey Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 Try clearing the CMOS. If you can find your mobo jumper sheet that is... If you do that and it still doesn't boot, you fried your mobo. BeatRyder Posted January 24, 2004 Posted January 24, 2004 I have had that problem with my computer, if there is a jumper/switch on your mobo for the speed settings try changing it and turning the computer on. That, of take out your RAM and boot the computer. there should be enough RAM (the base 512k, or 640K) on the MOBO to allow you to get into the BIOS, OR, when put your RAM back in it may boot and let you into the BIOS again.
