NO-FEELINGS Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Hello, I`m going to buy a new PSU. And I found this: Fortron EVEREST 500W. It`s pretty cheap, supports 80+ and it`s modular. Are there any bad things about this PSU, because it`s cheap?
damian Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 (edited) I skimmed through some reviews online and from what i read its a decent unit, keeps its 80+ promise but it doesn't really "excel" If your computer doesn't need that much power im sure you'll be fine with it. I`m running HD 5770 1GB, Phenom II x4 955, 4GB of DDR2 RAM. No overclocking. Do you think this power supply will be able to feed my rig with enough power? Sihastru Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 It's more then enough, you can even overclock without a problem.

Drdeath Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 This PSU is crap. I would not buy it. It has high voltage drop under load........ Plus with your system, if you push it past 60%, the life will not be long..........
