Deathmineral Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 (edited) I have another question. So I was using a 450w PSU up until now and had always noticed that my hardware doesn't perform as it should, could that under performance have been caused by using that power supply? I just checked what kind of wattage I should have using a PSU calculator and it recommended 608w, I'm not sure how accurate it is but it does make me feel better that I spent that $10 more for the 650w power supply. Its very likely it's was the power supply.
geoxile Posted July 24, 2010 Posted July 24, 2010 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015&cm_re=antec_650w-_-17-371-015-_-Product Or CorsairTX 650W Both corsair and Antec have great PSUs for pretty good prices. There are arguably better brands like PCP&C or Kingwin and Targan and the like but your mileage varies. You're better off with corsair or Antec
