dling Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Finally my computer is running the way I want it to. :thumbs-up: Good clocks in cpu and memory, stable and low load temps. :thumbs-up: I just added 3 new fans one 120x25 Scythe Slipstream "push" and one 120x138 Scythe ULTRA KAZE "pull". The third is another Scythe ULTRA KAZE 120x38 as an exhaust fan from the tower that sits right behind the pull fan removing the cpu heat from the system. I'm happy. Thanks to you guys for the suggestions for the processor hs. I was using the Cooler Master V10 before, doing the same test my temps would go above 80c and the test would shut down. dling Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 It took a while for me to get here. This Corsair memory is great . I think it could good a bit higher, but I'm happy where I'm at.
cirro Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 you should see about tryin' to drop them to 8T and see if you get a bandwidth bonus
dling Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 (edited) you should see about tryin' to drop them to 8T and see if you get a bandwidth bonus I'm not familiar with that. It that in stead of 2T in the memory ? If so what could I expect to gain ? Edited April 9, 2010 by dling
cirro Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 no the first timings (clocks, i didn't say it properly) 9-9-9-24 you should try droppin' them down a lil' if the first 9 wont go down, doesn't mean the other wont! 900+mhz is crazy high

I was unclear to what 8T was. I'll give it a shot. Thanks.

Bizzlenitch Posted April 9, 2010 Posted April 9, 2010 Try 10-15 passes of IBT. I've had an overclock fail around the 6th or 7th pass before. Just a thought.
