dling Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Could some please remind me how to determine this memory speed. Is it 2x the shown speed. I'm not sure because of the divider being set to 10.
OwinC Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Yes it is x2. So it would be 964.5x2=1929
joel.monteiro Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 DDR rams show their whole speed ,like example if it shows 400mhz its 400mhz,when DDR2 rams came out they wer double data rate so whtever was the frequency it was double of it like if it shows 400mhz its running 800mhz,dont know y in DDR3 its still showing double data rate.dont know y they havent changed it. dling Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 (edited) Yes it is x2. So it would be 964.5x2=1929 That's what I though. Just didn't know if the divider changed things. Thanks BTW this ram seem to be doing very well for being only a 1600mhz set. :thumbs-up: Edited April 5, 2010 by dling
