Union Of V Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 There is a lot of truth in that, although UFO denial was more likely an attempt at making the KGB and the military variety think they were more stupid than they were, or to cover up their own projects. I like Sagan's theory that the USAF routinely sent "silent" aircraft through their own defences before collecting testimonies in order to gauge the reaction if the USSR did the same.
