Voltages and Tempures

I would to have idea of what kind of temps you guys are getting that have

similar systems as mine.

cpu: i7 , core voltage: 1.468 , idle temps: 46-50 deg C. , load above 80 deg C , X58 series motherboard .

 

I just would to find out where I stand compaired others to see if I need to make any changes.

Im not too familiar with i7s but id be worrying if i idled at 50c and hit 80c+ on load

 

thats why i'm looking for others with similer equipment

to post . So I have some idea of what is normal or average .

Hm, if you're wanting to lower temperatures, why not invest in water cooling?

 

I have thought about that. How much do you think a good wc system would cost ?

I can cancel my ram.

my 3520 is watercooled on a loop by itself and at 1.5 volts idle is around 40c-41c and load is 70c-74c depending on room temp. My 3520 also runs a little hotter than my 920 did.

 

Your temps aren't to far out of the ordinary but that is a good bit of voltage for air cooling.
