ARandomOWL Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 That's what I do. But it does take some time to setup of course, but then you can have a server running exactly as you like.
Pur3vil Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 took me 5 mins to setup the server ( I cheat ), and god knows how long doing some simple joomla sites... http://www.5thcolumnclan.com http://www.patrickcountysoccer.com both run from here at the houz. d3bruts1d Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 I've used GoDaddy for years now for both domain registration and hosting. Started out using the shared Linux hosting plans, and have also used the GRID hosting as well as their dedicated servers. I have absolutely no complaints with them... they have a great dashboard, lots of features, and have continued to provide free upgrades as technology improves and their packages change. Also worked with their support staff when a script of mine for e107 was broke and causing high DB load.
Guest ajmatson Posted February 25, 2010 Posted February 25, 2010 +1 fo Godaddy, they are awesome if you can't host your own. I actually use my godaddy server as a failover for my home one.
