OCFreak Posted October 11, 2009 Posted October 11, 2009 Thank you! OK, so after some tweaking and playing around today I wanted to be sure of a couple of things: 1. When I put my cooler on, did I thoroughly clean the contact and CPU? (I didn't remember so I took it apart and sure enough I HADN'T) 2. Put more AS5 on there and remounted everything After doing so my core temps came down about 5C! Woohoo more OC room. After messing with the voltage and FSB a bit I found that the best setup was 3.49GHz @ 1.44v, I was able to run OCCT for 30mins without any crashes or hiccups. If I wanted to go above that, as far as clock goes, I would have to raise up my voltage which I want to avoid doing at this point. My temps at idle for were between 21-24C and under full load after 30mins they were 48C! That's more like it!
