aaron6581230 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 So the other day, I took my 4890 out of my case to replace it with the Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo cooler. When I put it in the system, everything worked fine. But then, I realized that my heatsinks weren't placed in the right spots, so I take it back out and reseated the heatsink. Now when I turn on my system, all the fans work but there is no display on the screen. Help!
Waco Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Did you remember the power plugs? Did you use conductive paste? Did you epoxy the heatsinks on then tear them off? Any of the above can cause no display.
MJCRO Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Did you fry the card? Not helping, but worth a thought.
KK_ Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 try remove the card and blow air / suck the PCI-e port (please use logic doing this) it could be abit dirty , just take it out and put it back in , sometimes its not a 100% connection

OP - did you ground yourself before working on the card?
