sunan Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 i've oc my ati hd 4850 using ati override, the spec after the oc as follows... core clock 690mhz, memory clock 1180mz, and fan setting to 80% of its full speed.. using everest 5.01 (if i m not mistaken-the version), shows the temp of gpu 40-45 idle (day time), and 38-43/45 (midnight).. during full load, the temp goes up to 58-65.. what concern me is that, is it ok to use ati override to oc my ati?, what are the effects to my gc?, can i rely on everest regarding the temp of the gc? *p/s -i'm using win 7 ultimate rc. -the temperature is in celcius. 00stevo Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Those temps are absolutely fine.I have mine set to 700 core,1100 mem,and running furmark stress test it gets up to about 80C,which imo is also fine.
