TheReaper Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Hey, are you trying to load the drivers via option before fresh install of OS?
RaPiDo987 Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Hey, are you trying to load the drivers via option before fresh install of OS? No, I have 3 partitions, 1x xp 32bit, 1 x windows 7 32bit. I restarted the comp, booted of cd, and it takes me to this window... I was going to do a fresh install on the Windows 7 32 bit partition. Is it worth installing 64bit? What's the difference? thanks
Jump4h Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 If you have more than 3 gigs of memory it is , because 32bit only detects 3.2 GB, if I remember correctly, when 64bit detects 128 GB.

TheReaper Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) Yes I used 64bit Vista for 2 reasons, 1st I need it for video editing and sfx etc and 2nd it does use upto 128gb ram where 32bit only sees 3.2...Win7 is the same as far as I can see... But as with 64bit XP and Vista, I found I couldn't get all the functions of my Scanner/printer to run on 64bit and some games didn't like it when it came to patching. Haven't got that far with Win7 yet as I had another problem with a partition not being seen after install.
