woppy101 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 a few days ago my pump failed for the second time in my watercooling history so i decided to ditch it and get a true.im suprised and quite happy with it aswell, i knew i wasnt going to get to 3.8@50c load but i have managed 3.6@50c load and after a bit of curing of the as5 i might be able to push a few more mhz lol
tkrow21 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I would worry when you start hitting over 70's.

Baulten Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 You're right, ~60 is the limit for Phenom II's. AMD has the maximum temp at 62C, and going over won't DAMAGE the processor, but they do not take heat well, and if you pass 50-55C, it will get unstable. ccokeman Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 With a True and the stock fan I was hitting 80+ under load (Prime 95) Drop in some better fans and the temps get better
