out of those two the 8 channel one...not sure about the creative probably better....after all it is creative.

Specs are better on creative but it costs a bit more...also try to look at online reviews, they are helpful.

the Audigy Se will work in Vista...but it's about the same as the onboard....

 

Onboard sound or any sound solution for that matter doesnt work 100% in Vista....

 

you'll have the same issues getting 3rd party sound going as you do the onboard....
