jebey2 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Also, forgot to mention this earlier, and it might affect video card choices. I am using a 32" widescreen HDTV/HDMI as my monitor, running at 1360 x 768 resolution.

You could probably do with a 4830 but I would still go with the 4850.
umdterps7 Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 (edited) I seriously recommend get the Phenom II 710. It's gaming performance is on par or within 5% of the Phenom II 940 and it costs $110 less. http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/ph...ii_720_810_am3/ Edited March 1, 2009 by umdterps7

IVIYTH0S Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 I agree, the 4830 is alot cheaper and overclocked, it becomes exactly equal with a 4850 across the board but it's up to you? If you overclock and want to save money, get the 4830 but if you don't overclock then get the 4850.
