im swapping cases as my old case has no front fan spot!

my new hand-me-down case can hold x2 120mm fans on the front and looks like maybe a 92mm fan on the rear...

Very quiet for the air they push, but here are some 110/38 ones. I'll be buying those soon for my radiator.

damn you beat me to it. I can't decide between either the slipsteams or the SilenX fans for my new gpu cooler. The SilenX are clearly THE BEST CFM/dba ratio ever. But I think the Slipstreams are a close second and the noise wouldn't be out of hand. The Ultra Kazes are borderline too loud (not to mention, thermalright says to use 120x120x25 and the ultra kazes are 120x120x38) and the slipstream would be quieter while still moving a good bit of air. I think I'll get the slipstream so I can see how much quieter they are, and if they are significantly more quiet while not losing that much airflow, I may replace my two ultra kazes with them.

I would go for slipstream since they push more but are a bit louder. My stock rad fans do 33 dba for 88 cfm, not too bad, but raped by slipstream.

ya scythes are amazing, other than a delta fan putting out around 150cfm and 50dba. I found noone that can touch them with the high end airflow numbers, while still having respectably mid-sound levels.

Do you think I should get a fan controller and just crank back my Ultra Kazes or just replace them with the Slipsteams (as the 20 less CFM wont hurt my cooling that much)?

Get a fan controller, it's better than to waste a good 20 dollars replacing good fans.

good point, for all I know the UK's may be quieter at the slipstream speed. Can you recommend any good ones off the top of your head?

I only need it for maybe 4 fans max (2CPU fans, the SS on the GPU and be able to run an extra just in case)

It all depends on your budget. These 2 are really nice but expensive.

And this is on the cheap end of things.

hmm I want to try the Thermaltake one but there were a few complaints of it not working. I don't need a super one, and I'm probably just gonna sit it on top of my case. I might risk the Thermaltake one, I know they make good stuff (though this would be the first Thermaltake item I've ever purchased).

Thanks for the suggestions

The newegg comments are to be taken with a grain of salt. I remember on my power supply most of the reviews were negative because the video cards made a loud squealing sound...what retards, didn't even plug the cable in...

ya reading deeper many are just pleased that it didn't fit in as nice with their cases. My case is a Frankenstein project and the controller is just gonna sit on top so it won't bother me what it looks like. It even could be pink, I don't care lol (well hopefully it'd be like 6 bucks if it was pink)
