Archerzz Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Well for starters I know there is a fourm on here that tells me how to set up folding for the OCC team, I had it set up a while ago but that was like 3+ years ago and I cant seem to find the post or the instructions anywhere so if someone could give me that information as well that would be great. Now on to the real reason I am posting. I know with prime95 if your OC is not stable it will throw an error does f@h let you know when your system isnt stable and if so how will I know? kingdingeling Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 F@H lets you know through WUs that either error out or that give you bluescreens. Not the most pleasant art to look for stability! I would just run Orthos for a while, if you want to only Fold on the machine about 3 hours Orthos is enough!
Archerzz Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 what is orthos?
kingdingeling Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Orthos is a version of Prime95, it runs dual instances from one program and even allows warnings over the integrated speaker when it's failed Sleep OCing, it's the future
Crazy_Nate Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 There are also multiple-threaded versions of Prime95 http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/file.php?f=103 This is a 32-bit one, there are also 64-bit versions for 64-bit operating systems.
