ARandomOWL Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Specs would help. If u r sure there r no options the only other way is using a prog in windows such as SetFSB. Look in ur BIOS for "FSB Frequency" or something along those lines.
jackbrennan2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 You might have to press CTRL + F1, or it copuld be ALT + F1 i forget (Read your manual or download it) the overclocking controls are hidden on most mainstream and budget motherboards! Queenz Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Is your computer a custom build or is it from a manufacturer like dell, or hp? Cause if it is that would explain why there is no overclocking options because manufacturers lock the BIOS to prevent overclocking tweaks. fire_storm Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 It would be good to know weather that computer is name brand or custom built. You usually can't overclock name brand computers. If this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813135062 Is your board you should be able to overclock but based on what I have read its not really meant for overclocking though. nasa geek Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 (edited) http://www.digit-life.com/articles2/mainbo...force520le.html -here's an article about your motherboard. About 2/3 of the way down it has a chart with settings you can access within your BIOS (which appear to be Award). Judging by this it is quite possible for you to overclock. Perhaps you are not looking hard enough in your BIOS? Edited November 6, 2008 by nasa geek
