ShadowPaktu Posted December 17, 2003 Posted December 17, 2003 wow, i knew that 6 months ago! lol AGP graphics cards will be obsolete by end 2005, and the pci express will take over, one bad thing bout express, is the size of the motherboards, you see the express needs the same amount of upstrwam and downstream pathways to the processor or northbrids, and as grphics only really requie the downstream bandwidth, all the upstrwma lines will be wasted, this it was a case of implementing some sort of duel pcb board that site on the motherboard to carry those extra lanes, specially when the later xpress versions come out. Also, there goingto be based on the BTX form factor, so that means better cooling for cpu (cpu will be at bottem right corner of mobo right next to front intakes) and im hopeing thr BTX will be a smash Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
