I really wanted the larger screen with a higher resolution; and with a faster CPU I can't complain, if I really want 4Gb of RAM vs the standard 2Gb I can always get a set from newegg for $75. Further, I'm eligible for freebies from MS since it has a system-builders edition of Vista on it; so I'll activate to get the gear then load up XP (good thing the XP drivers are available).
