noct3rn4l Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 Im quite happy with my P35 DS3R, I even ran my Quad with my spare Giga 965P DS3 for a while and it ran sweet as a nut. Overclocking the Gigabytes is so easy too, not as thorough as a DFI BIOS but its got what you need, not that expensive either. Branjo do you have the Audio Latency issue like many other Gigabyte board owners are reporting as mentioned in this thread from toms hardware... [ http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/247210-3...cy-problem-ds3r ] the EP35-DS3R was #1 on my list until I read this... Now I'm having 2nd thoughts, and i just ordered my Q6600 and RAM... dr_bowtie Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 if you are worried about the audio issue you can do two things...either try a different soundcard or an older bios such as those guys did...only really an issue if you do audio encoding like the OP did... Branjo Posted April 26, 2008 Posted April 26, 2008 I tried that little program and for 80% of the time it was under 10 but the rest it would spike to 600 - 700. I haven't noticed anything during my everyday use at all.
