momoceio Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 iRiver came first. I had an iRiver CD walkman, was a great playerIts served me well for a few years now, would like longer battery life so i'd agree there. While it doesn't help you with your HD ipod, I have to admit i like finger fliping it and twirling it around. Another reason I bought the iRiver Clix...up to 24 hour of battery life I've yet see any decent MP3 player do that.

merkelov Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 The headphones that come with the Ipod seem to work great. I have had mine for over two years and have had no problems. And I am not someone who keeps his music turned down. Ha. I have enjoyed my Ipod immensely, it works great, and by using Winamp instead of freakin Itunes, it is simple and painless to download music. I plug mine into my truck, and it works great for those long trips. I am sure satellite radio would work great too, except with the Ipod I decide what gets played. Yay. I am the decider. Anyway, I have really enjoyed the ipod.

diff_lock Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb.nsf/p?ope...pc%5Esc%5EKSC75 http://www.koss.com/koss/kossweb.nsf/p?ope...5Ept%5EPORTAPRO (sportapro is good too) http://www.sennheiserusa.com/newsite/produ...?transid=005206 http://av.jvc.com/product.jsp?modelId=MODL...thId=110&page=1 http://www.gradolabs.com/product_pages/sr60.htm These are most popular sub 100dollar head phones. I if you like lots of isolation get the JVC's, but they go IN your ear, and some people don't like that. Also they have some very strong bass. The KSC 75 (koss) is sparkely but the bass extends pretty low, and has a very clear sound. The Portapros are a little muddier (a tiny bit) and are more bass oriented. People have compared the px100's to portapros, but i have never listened to px100s. The grado sr60s are really nice, extremely clear, and the sound isn't piercing, I enjoy the bass on the sr60's, it is tight and does not disturb the rest of sound. Comfort... I wear the KSC 75s all day, they are great, but as you know everyones heads and ears differ. The KSC 75s have metal clips which and be bent to fit better. Also there are a bunch of mods to improve the koss and jvc phones. Oh and the ipod headphones I have listened to are useless.
Angry_Games Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I'm only looking to spend about $20 at the most...I ain't blowing no cash on headphones over that for a device I might use once in a while (walking to the next class at school etc). I do dig the ones that go in the ears more than anything though.
Guest Modulok Posted February 29, 2008 Posted February 29, 2008 I got these headphones in Oct 2006 for $33. They are the best I have ever used. They sound great (IMO), are very light, and they don't hurt your ears after hours of use.
