Coors Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Didn't you already replace your ram like a few days ago? LOL you love to spend money don't you? But really I'd just get some ddr 800 and OC it. With Intel cpu's timings don't really matter that much. 4-4-4-12 ddr 800 is cheap and OC's very well.
CharmedLover84 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I've noticed the timings thing you speak of Hence why I wanna just buy some DDR2-1150 or more and just be happy with it at it's "stock" settings LOL Â And actually anything I buy and no longer use, I tend to ebay, so it's really just exchanging parts, ain't spending much money in the long term LOL
Coors Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 Looking through newegg, if I wanted more than ddr800, I wouldn't get anything more expensive then these. But seriously I'd get a set of ddr 800 as that is the best bang for the buck. Plus you will more than likely be able to OC them to the speeds of the more expensive ram. Plus I don't think i'd want to pump more then 2.2v's through my ram either and those at stock at 2.2+. My g.skill HZs are stock at 1.8v. I just never got around to OCing them yet since I was still trying to find the max of my CPU. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820227191 Â http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820227181 Â http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820220161
CharmedLover84 Posted August 6, 2007 Posted August 6, 2007 I'm testing mine at DDR2-1000, if it passes, I'll probably reconsider my thoughts of getting another set of RAM.
