Angry_Games Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 can non ecc memory b used on a workstation/server motherboard? oops i read the ? wrong server boards always require ECC memory because they are built for mission-critical situations. workstation boards are usually ECC because they too are mission critical (real workstations, not some guy tossing a dual-core into a mobo and calling it his workstation). none of our boards officially support ECC memory and it is not recommended for any DFI board. (nor supported)
