combat squirrel Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 How much better is the Scythe Ninja Plus Rev.B over an XP-120 ? I have the XP-120 now, and its good yes, but how much better would the Scythe Ninja Plus Rev.B over it ? Id be using a fan on the heatsink in a P180 case. Iv looked on the net and cannot find any reviews of the Ninja which includes the XP-120 as a comparison, dont suppose anyone knows where I can find one ? lol
bleach Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 IMO not enough to warrant the change in heatsinks. I would look to change it only to improve case flow.
Reinvented Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 I've got a Rev. B on my Conroe setup right now. I can surely tell you right now, that it's for those people who want silence. If you are after performance, you can't beat an XP-120 with a good 120mm fan with a good cfm:db ratio.

Yeh, well iv got a good fan on the XP-120 at the moment, and my opty 170 at 2.7ghz runs 54c full load dual prime, after an hour temps, and stays there, im thinking the Ninja B with the fan on it, with the P180 fans back and top, surely it would be lower temps ? from the sheer size of it ? lol
