Knavinusa Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I'm going to be doing some vmods on my 7900 GT, so I'm looking for some BGA ramsinks that actually make a difference. I also need some smaller ones for the vregs just in case. Does anyone know of/had experience with some good BGA ramsinks?
225Slant6 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 SVC.com has some nice copper Swiftech BGA ramsinks that are some of the best you can get.

n_w95482 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 I'm using some OCZ copper BGA sinks on my 7800, and they're wonderful. I was going to order more, but they are hard to find. I wonder if they went out of production .
Knavinusa Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Don't believe I can order from SVC, unfortunately, since I live in Canada, but I'll try getting them from FrozenCPU.
Kandoo Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 just real careful putting sinks on the vreg. the hight between the board and the top of the vreg is very small, You dont want to cause a short with the ram sink.
