1. Damn, it seems like you got better sticks than I did. Mine can hit 275 MHz, but it fails prime in like ten minutes. I probably need more voltage, but I'm not quite sure how much these can take.
2. I have them at these settings right now: Freq: 200 MHz (1:1) CR: 1T CAS: 3 TRCD: 3 TRP: 3 TRAS: 8 TRC: 7 TRFC: 14 TRRD: 2 TRWT: 2 TWR: 2 TWTR: 1 TWCL: 1 TREF: 3120 cycles Skew Control: Auto Skew Value: 0 MAL: 8.0 ns Drive Strength: Weak 3 (Level 5) RP: 6.0 ns Data Drive Strength: Auto Idle Cycle Limit: 256 cycles Dynamic Counter: Enabled R/W Queue Bypass: 16x Bypass Max: 4x 32-bit granularity: Disabled I've tried taking them to 270 MHz, but it seems they probably need 2.9V for that. In any case, Level 5 drive strength tends to work well for these ICs, so it's best to leave it there. Maybe take a look here too: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?t=90438 OPB's recommended settings are posted there.
3. It looks like the IHS wasn't seated very well. You'd need to remove the IHS to fix this problem, unfortunately. The reading is correct.
4. I believe the older CPUs had these rubber pads on each of the corners to prevent the heatsink from cracking the cores.
5. You should be able to pop it right in. The main reason people had issues with the dual-core procs is because their BIOS was too old and didn't support them properly. Just make sure you install the AMD dual-core drivers.
6. Alright, sounds good. I hope TankGuys actually has them in stock.
7. Has anyone ever owned a set of these? I'd like to make sure these are good before I place an order.
8. I'm planning to pick up a set of these from Team to replace my G.Skill. Has anyone had experience overclocking these? It doesn't seem like there is much info on them.
9. I'd rather put the RAM on a 166 (or 150) divider instead of tightening the timings up on such a low divider. RAM frequency has more of an influence on Super PI than timings do.
10. You should provide the complete stepping code, like the way I have it in my sig.
