OCZ EB DDR PC-4000 2x1024MB Platinum, Timings??

Hello,

 

if I put the rams more than 166, the windows doesn t boot.

 

If I let in 166 and start to play a game like Titan Quest, after 10min the Windows freezes and I can do nothing more.

 

In the bios configuration are the ram options all in the auto mode and the opteron at the stock speed.

 

How should I configure my rams to run stable when I play?

Up date your sig and check databases here on forum for known good settings also check over at OCZs site bleedinedge.com

Search the Stock Speed Database (SSDB) for your RAM timings.

 

Then test the memory by enabling memtest in the BIOS and run test #5 and #8 for 20 passes.

but the settings aren t all the same, if the cpu not the same is, and I can find one with a opteron 170

 

but I m still looking for

Hmmm are you timming your CPU? or your memory?

Just what is the differences in X2 4400 and your 170 besides 11x multi and your has 10X.

i tried just like you told me to do, but the windows still doesn t work if I put the ram more than 166.

 

As obs, the cpuz doesn t show the rams frequency or FSB just the timings.

 

Do I have bad rams?

 

What should I do?
