ReelFiles Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Bob Bitchen, LOL that used to be one of my old pseudonyms. I would recommend against using IE, not just because of it's security flaws, but also because I always found Firefox faster. Anyone know if signatures in old posts still get updated automatically? thefabe Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 I am to understand this to be true and have seriously thought of changing, just havn't been able to get around to it ,besides once they finish cutting my body all up and settle up I'll be moving and then I'll get broadband but for now I'll just grin and bare it. Hey Reelfiles I noticed the reputation link ie: the scales so i added to yours.

NEOAethyr Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 It's to report bugs.I dont' care what it looks like yo It's just to report the bugs . And yeah, I don't much care for the theme's, but hey, if the forum works allright then screw it. bigr5026 I got a bad rep for this one . Not the 1st post before this, but when I was saying I was'nt complaining, just bug reporting. Well partially, the theme thing like many others... Then bug reporting. Still... Anyways don't fret dude . It's screwed up yeah, but it does have some real uses. I mean we all could probably learn how to socialize a bit better from it. However... You've allready hit the bad end of it, I saw nothing wrong in your opinion nor how you expressed it.

ReelFiles Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Rep points are going to get wiped anyway, so it doesn't matter.
tasr Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 no need to worry we are going to wipe the reputation points when the forum is done the way we like it and we put up a proper explanation of the reputation system Wheeew..................... I was for sure there would be a lynch mob waiting for me when I got home yesterday. Forum Rules updated with a modification when you register, you must read and agree to follow the rules ADDITIONALLY the first time you make a new thread in each main section (32-bit, 64-bit, Overclocking, General Discussion), you will see the rules agreement box and you must again agree to the rules. As the big red text says...failure to do so will result in an immediate 7 day ban. Failure to read and follow the rules a second time will result in a permanent ban. We don't have time to babysit and coddle you anymore. Read the rules. It should be the first thing you do. Follow them. This is common sense. This is a great idea! Guest caffeinejunkie Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Yeah the rule change is great. I think every new person that posted last week didnt have a sig lol Hopefully this will take care of that.
ReelFiles Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 The rules change is definately cool, should cut down on some copy and pasting time, hehe. I think someone mentioned that the rules weren't as accessible or visible with the layout change, that's why there was a bunch of sig-less newcomers. NEOAethyr Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 A feature request... Sigs. If you have an img in it, could it be possible to aling the img to the left for example, and some text beside it on the oppiset side on the right. When I try it now, it does that, but the text is under the img. Same with text to text. For example: Test Left Side... Test Right Side... Test Right Side... To show the code, incorrectly done to show how I'm doing it (Missing the /'s): Test Left Side... Test Right Side... http://www.voguehost.com/ims/u/ajdhsw/Misc/NEO.jpg Test Right Side... Just for ease of reading, if I wantd to save space I could start getting rid of the spaces and returns in there, when possible. Is this possible anyways? It would make for example, my sig alot small if I could doit. Also people could put up a sig, then put some text beside it. Maybe linkable text, all that stuff, goodies... It's just an idea. I know allready about alinging to the center and all that stuff. Edit: It would be nice, what I said above... But I'm thinking right now I aught to make a real sig anyways, that pic is my avatar on certain forums...
