Guest LithoTech Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 so yeah, even though it's not the P180, here's my current fan setup... Sometimes the simplest easiest method is the most effective. No matter how you permenantly mount that fan, it will never be as direct and close as it is now! It must be creating some wash in the area that normally doesn't happen due to the 9500 tunneling everything away. I know what I'd do, and without changing a single thing... except swap the amd fan for a 120mm! If it wants wash, heheh... give it a blast of wash! maka_RTH Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 haha, i've thought of using a 120mm i think a 120mm would be too big to just sit there though, i'd have to mount that, but since it would add more flow, it may make up for not being right on top of the sticks. i may experiment with putting it by the drive bays like yourself, cuz that would also help push even more air over my 9500 as well, and hopefully cool the ram just as much. the amd fan was just laying around doing nothing, so yeah Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
