ROFISH Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Windows detects it fine, but it always says "connection is unplugged." When plugged in, the port does not light up. It was working earlier. EDIT: Note that the nVidia LAN port works fine. I just like the onboard one for networking.
Kakarot Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Silly question but is it plugged in currently? It will say that if not in use, just disable it till you use it
ROFISH Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Yes, it is plugged in. It says 'Not Plugged In' even though I've tried about 10 different cables (some crossover, some regular) on many different uplinks. Again, the lights on the plug do not turn on at all. Even when something is plugged in correctly.

ROFISH Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Did you check you bios to make sure it's enabled? Yes, it is, otherwise it wouldn't be detected in Windows.
Chaos_2k Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Try this: The other PC has to be turned on. Yours should be off. Plug in the Cable in the other PC. then in yours. Check which PC is glowing. If the other does but your NF4 not then i guess its screwed up -> RMA it. BTW: the bottom port is the Marvell Port. Mine Marvell Lan works fine, but i had problems with beeing in two different Lans at the same time, but i fixed that.
