General Septem Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I decided on the Superclocked eVGA. It's got the highest clock of all of the 7900GTX cards. Of course by the time I can afford it who knows what will be out.
AtaruMoroboshi Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I've made up my mind, I'm going to get the BFG 7900 GTX and sell my BFG 7800 GTX, how much do you think I could get for it? I have all the parts, I don't OC my video cards, and I make sure that they work incredibly well?

General Septem Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Out of curiosity, what do you like about the BFG as opposed to the eVGA?
AtaruMoroboshi Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Out of curiosity, what do you like about the BFG as opposed to the eVGA? Lifetime warranty.
General Septem Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Lifetime warranty. Does that cover acts of stupidity (i.e., overclocking )? Other than overclocking is it even likely for it to fail?

I never OC my video cards, I just like to know that I have it and they also OC the card as well, not by much, but they still do! inphared Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Lifetime warranty. eVGA has a lifetime warranty also that doesnt get voided if you overclock. eVGA also has a step-up program where you can trade in old eVGA cards within 90 days of purchase for a newer one and only pay the difference in price. Just my $0.02.
Slingn Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I'm gonna try and use the evga step up program to trade my 7800gt co for a 7900 gtx egs. Looks like a great deal, and if it works, i'm an evga fan, and customer for life.
