Cooling issues

Recommended Posts

Ok, I am having serious, serious problems. When I start up, my PWM temp is a 52 degrees. On top of that, once I'm in windows, it slowly ramps up to 60 or so degrees before rebooting. This means I can run Guild Wars for say, an hour max. I'm using two 120mm fans, one front, one back. It's been running fine for about a week, no reboots or anything, but since I've started running Guild Wars there have been issues. Honestly, the mosfet is hot enough to hurt my finger. It's pretty bad.

You want to get a fan over that line of mosfets .... what are your cpu core temps ?

44/45 degrees.

Those temps are ok if under load, but really high if the cpu is just idle. I get around 34-35 on idle and 46 at load, when overclocking my X2 3800 to 2250mhz.

As for the PWM temps, I sit at 47 on idle, and 51 on load.

How does the inside of your case look? Did you clean up all the wires, or do you have stuff all over the place?
