vegaxx2kx Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 I have the NF4-D Board and I know it only has SATA 1 but I have SATA II drives, how much speed am I losing having only SATA 1 support? supershanks Posted March 5, 2006 Posted March 5, 2006 NCQ? is part of the sata 2 spec. your missing relatively little in terms of speed. I got about 81% improvement in burst speed & 8% in sustained speed according to the quick test utility in xp device manager. But that is in a benchmark in day to day running it amounts to not alot.
