bigKr33 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 i just installed my new mushkin xp4000 2gb ram. Works like a charm till i decided to change the timings and not change the voltage. So after i set the timings i restarted and my computer screen went blank, but with the computer still running. My friend this happen before with his computer, but all he had to do was take out the battery and put it back in. Unfortunantly though the battery is a @#$@$ to take out. How do i reset my CMOS? Thanks in advance.
Kaedan94 Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 IIRC, there's a switch or button on the motherboard to reset the CMOS, but also need to remove the battery to clear the charge. Consult your mobo manual.
