KaollaSu Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Wow, that was a pretty low thing to do and I hope ebay never lets you back. Totally disgusting. I think people deserve a second chance. He should contact ebay and just tell them there was a misunderstanding and he will most likely get his account back. Unless of course he has a record of bad dealings and this was the last straw. If it really was a first offense, he deserves another go at it. Damn I can't tell you how many times I hacked the HP-UX servers in college back in the early 90's. If it wasn't for 2nd chances, I would never have finished school and would never have become the well paid and respected computer professional I am today. stu_allen Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Agreed KaollaSu. The auction is over, his bidders know why, and so does everyone here. Time to move on.
Angry_Games Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 mistakes will be made in life, but common sense is something that is sometimes lacking trying to intentionally defraud potential customers is the reason why your ebay account was suspended, and I have no sympathy nor do I tolerate excuses as to why someone would even try to do something they knew was very wrong. that being said...I'm sure you learned from your mistake and now we can all move on and put this behind us.
