Andrew_e1 Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Hello, So i installed ntune to see what it did.....it said it could optimize my performance so i let it run, it said that the comp could reboot and it was normal... it started doing its things and comp reboots, it gets back to windows and resumes... then it does it again, but this time it doesnt boot and it does not give video...i got kinda scared but i just reset the bios and everythings back to normal..... why did this happen? on the other side, i run the benchmark again and it showed significant improvement lol... thanks
hmf Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Its not really a good idea to use NTune for system settings. Its much better to make changes via bios rather than the registry.
Angry_Games Posted January 6, 2006 Posted January 6, 2006 Ntune kills boards don't use it start an RMA for your board as it is not likely to work after using Ntune. (and no it does not state this anywhere on the DFI site but it does state it here more than a few times but keep in mind we are just DFI employees, this site is not officially supported by DFI themselves so we will have different info *more current info usually also*)
