CounterSpell Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Ok this is more than likely a Windows XP problem, but this forum seems to be the best at having people that might have good have answers. Amazing... DFI makes a good board.. and the forums for that board knows answer questions other than just for the board.. ?: When I go change my display through my Displays ( right click on desktop and go to properties ). I get an this " Run DLL as an App" Followed by Drwatson error. Well I do know that rundll32 ( <--- something like that ) may cause this error. But I have suspecions that it isn't. I did find a forum talking about this same incident, they referred to it as an infection. Well I did adware scans, sfc /scannow, Virus Scans and registry fixer.. Nothing.. So I am gonna create a Hackthis log file.. and post it. If anyone has any information please let me know. SoyoJoe Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Did u use this, http://hijackthis.de/index.php?langselect=english , to analyze your log file? Also might want to go to the microsoft website and enter the error name in the search box. Usually works for me.
CounterSpell Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I did go to mircrosoft and enter error name  But they have nothing on it. I actually have a professor that is having the same problem and he has no clue either.
